Hong Kong - Day1 & 2

Hong Kong is one of the travel destination of my travel list since young...

I watched Hong Kong drama with family and it has become a habit of chasing every single drama until now! Am proud to say that I learn how to listen and speak cantonese from watching HK drama.

Thank you Airasia mega sales I managed to buy my air tickets to HK last year January with Mr.Dar for only Rm450+ return fare...Bought tickets one year in advance and counting down the days and finally it has arrived!

I booked our hotel rooms through Agoda website for around A$471 per person for 7 nights including our stay in Venetian Macau!

I was too excited for this trip I did a lot of research on the must try food in Hk and of course the must visit places too...And I came out with my own itinerary with all the travel details ^^

Hong Kong is far more beautiful than you might have imagined~

Day 1

It was a 4 hours flight from KL to HK and we arrived in HK around 9pm...

Piad HK$150 ($50 deposit + $100 stored value) around Rm70+ each for this Octopus card for MTR access~ Transportation is so expensive in Hk our $100 was gone after the trip from the airport to our hotel in Kowloon... ><

Our stay for 6 nights in Hk...It's a short walking distance from our hotel to Olympic MTR station...
Room was small but it was comfortable...

After settling down with our hotel room... we walked to Mong Kong for some food hunt! =)

Came across this nice Cha-Chaan-Teng in Mong Kong!

Food was so so good especially and the noodle soup and the Polo Bao! Not forgetting the Hk-style milk tea and Iced Lemon Tea 凍檸茶...We were so satisfied with the food and our first night there was a good one!

Day 2

Hong Kong Disneyland it was!

Rise and Shine! My ootd - Mickey jumper from MNG =p

Had breakfast somewhere near our hotel before heading to the magical land!
Again HK-style Milk Tea is a must! It was so good! =)

Ordered a set meal with macaroni, toast and milk tea! =p and Mr.Dar only ordered the condensed milk bun...lol see how much I can eat! ><

From Olympic Station we took the Tung Chung Line and stopped at Sunny Bay interchange station then we took the Disney themed MTR to Disneyland! =)
with the Mickey Mouse themed MTR train at Disneyland Resort Station! =)

Our 1-day Disneyland tickets cost us HK$499 (Rm 200+) each!

You can buy your tickets at the hotel counter to avoid the queue at the Disneyland ticket counters...

A pic with the main entrance! ^^

Let the fun begins~

The park is divided into seven themed “zones” that is Main Street USA, Adventureland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Toy Story Land, Grizzly Gulch and Mystic Point...

Main street USA
Went to the Academy Animation for a drawing lesson...LOL not too bad aye?

Adventureland
The jungle-themed Adventureland is home to Tarzan Island with some shows and jungle river cruise...

Enjoyed the 'Festival of the Lion King' show so much!

Tomorrowland

went for some rides like Space Mountain, Autopia electric car ride and Buzz Lightyears Astra Blaster...

Fantasyland

The Sleeping Beauty's castle in Fantasyland is currently undergoing renovation so it was a let down! =(((

Golden Mickey show with all the Disney Characters~

My favourite photo in Disneyland goes to the selfie with Chipmunks! SO CUTE~

Behind the scene! =D

There are many restaurants there but why do we have to choose the one that sell the worst food and yet so expensive! T__T Paid HK$110 for this plate of tasteless Yang Chou Fried Rice!

Grizzly Gulch

Enjoyed the 'Big Grizzly Runaway mine car' ride! It was so fun~

Toy Story Land

Sleeping Beauty's castle at night?? Haih still feel sad about it!

"Disney Paint the Night" parade in Main Street USA!

"Disney in the Stars" fireworks display centred on the Sleeping Beauty Castle~

We left Disneyland before the fireworks end to avoid the overcrowded train back home...

Other than the castle and the food, I enjoyed Disneyland so much!

More photos on my FB album~

Cheers~
