New Zealand Trip Day 3,4 & 5

Woke up early morning 6am and we saw our car turned into a frozen car...lol...we had to use water to remove the ice on our car...

A layer of ice on the grass as well...so pretty~
and woke up to this beautiful view~ That's the gas..

Headed to Huka Falls for beautiful waterfalls...

Never expect a waterfall could be this beautiful and scary in the mean time...lol...

It was so so so so cold!!!

The waterfalls behind me~ SO BEAUTIFUl~ Heavenly beauty~

But actually I'm a lil bit afraid of the waterfall...Never seen a waterfall this scary before...The water flows so fast!
Spot the lil rainbow not? =)

There's actually a Jet that take you to the base of the mighty Huka Falls...Not only a normal jet boat ride but combine 360° spins and passing nature by incredibly close at disorientating speeds...

Too bad we don't have time for it! =(  That's one of activity in my to-do-list...How disappointed!

If you are interested, the 30 mins Jet boat ride costs $109!

Headed to that snowy mountain after that...It's Mount Ruapehu, an active volcano in Nz...There's a ski field beside Mount Ruapehu called Turoa...

Beautiful Mount Ruapehu~

I was so so happy to see SNOW!!! *sakai chin  HAHAHA...
Big PEACE for me! =D

Actually it was not that cold on the mountain mainly because it was so sunny that morning...

Never forget a Jump Shot! Haha...too Happy~
Played snow fight with friends...Never expect hit by a snowball can be so painful...

Take only pictures, leave only FOOTPRINTS~ ^^

wanted to drive further up to the mountain but failed!
chained out car tyres using snow chains but it does't fit the tyre == Or maybe the guys don't even know how to do the correct way! Lol...So at the end we did not manage to get to the ski field...

Headed to our last destination before going back to Auckland...
Fluffy sheep everywhere on the mountain~ ^^

Waitomo Caves, a famous Glowworms cave in New Zealand...Waitomo Glowworm Caves are a must see in New Zealand...

Had lunch at a cafe there before entering the cave...

Again we were so unlucky because we did not get to ride the world's famous boat ride under thousands of magical glowworms! T___T

Reached there at 2pm and it was so quiet that day so the last tour at 3pm was cancelled! and the 2.30pm tour was already full...so we had no choice but to choose another package which did not come with the boat ride...

Disappointed again! =(

We get to see the glowworms too but not as many as the one with the boat ride...

So this is the glowworms...
Not the vertical one but the horizontal one...lol...You understand me? We only get to see a small bunch of glowworms...No pictures of them glowing because we are not allowed to take pictures of them...

Pictures below I took it from their website...We will get to see thousands of them if we were on the boat ride! T_____T
You can watch the video here...It's really amazing! =)

Anyways we all had a great day!

Headed back to Auckland after a long long day...Few hours of driving was really tiring (definitely drove more than 6 hours a day) but luckily I'm not the driver...lol...

Nick doze off while driving luckily we were all safe and I'm still here writing my blog...lol...

Kevin brought us to a 'La Mian' place to have our dinner...

And surprisingly the Spicy Beef noodle taste so good! Yummy I finished my own bowl of 'La Mian' and also half of Mr.Dar's... and it's only $7 so cheap...Where else can you find cheap and yummy food in Nz or Aussie pls tell me ;)

Seafood fried dumplings was yummy too~ =p

Had dessert after dinner...Chilled at Hulu Cat near city...
My caramel pearl milk tea...The pearl milk tea here beats a lot of shops back in Kuching already...Even Chatime pearl milk tea doesn't taste as good...

Tour around the city the next day morning...

Went to Mount Eden, the second highest natural point in the whole of the Auckland region...It is now an inactive volcano...
The impressive bowl-like crater is 50-metres deep...

CIty view from the top of the mountain...

Next stop, One Tree Hill...
It's another Volcanic peak in Auckland...

Went to Piha Beach after that...
Behind me is the Lion Rock...

Carl's Jr. for dinner! The BEST burger...

Visited the Museum on Day 5...Nothing much to do on that day too...lol...

Next post - Hobbiton!
