A week long winter vacation to Tasmania with bro and cousins last year during our winter semester break.
Tasmania has always been on my travel list and I'm glad to have visited this beautiful place with my family.
Just so you know Tasmania is a heart-shaped island and some may say that it is the heart of the world <3
We rented a car at the airport and our plan was to drive all the way from Launceston to Hobart.
Touched down Launceston after an hour flight from Melbourne and we headed out for breakfast at the famous Cuccina cafe.
Our first destination was Cradle Mountain and we did not expect to see snow up there. The view along the way was spectacular.
We then booked a bus trip to the Dove Lake
It started to snow heavily and it was freezing cold up there I can't even feel my toes =|
Took a few photos and quickly ran back to the bus because I'm scared I might need to chop off my freezing numb feet =\
Headed back down to Launceston for some nice and warm dinner. Launceston is a very small town and we basically couldn't find any nice restaurant so we found this place through Zomato app.
Cozy accommodation for a night. I'm pretty amazed by the electric blanket they have here as it is very cold in Tasmania during winter time.
Leaving Launceston the next day and started our journey along Tasmania's east coast.
