Brisbane~

Here's the post of my first trip in 2014!

SUMMER HOLIDAY IN BRISBANE AND GOLD COAST!!! ^^

Took an early morning flight to Brisbane with friends and we spent a night in Brisbane before heading to Gold Coast!

We just wandering around the city as there's nothing much to do in Brisbane...
A picture at Brisbane Town Hall...

walked across the Goodwill bridge where it connects the South Bank Parkland in South Brisbane to Gardens Point in the Brisbane CBD...

We wanted to hire a bike to explore across the city but t0 use the bike we need to subscribe online with credit/ debit card...so plan failed! LOL...

CityCycle bike hiring and returning is available 24 hours 7 days a week and it's really convenient because you just need to return it to any other stations throughout the city...We have this in Melbourne ;)

View of the city from South Bank...

The Wheel of Brisbane at dusk...

The Wheel of Brisbane at night...

South Bank Grand Abour~
The Arbour consists of 443 curling steel columns covered in bougainvilleas which flower throughout the year...

Australia's only beach in the middle of the city, Streets Beach is one of South Bank's most popular attractions...
A unique, man-made swimming beach and it overlooks the brilliant Brisbane River and central business district...

walked back to the city and met up with friends for dinner...Connie and Eric brought us to the some nice Korean restaurant for dinner...

It's called Madtongsan II Korean Restaurant in the city...

Every Korean restaurant here served free and unlimited refill side dishes like Kimchi etc and for me this place has the best side dishes so far! Every Korean restaurant served different side dishes but they must have Kimchi...
Kimchi, sweet potatoes and cheese macaroni! So yummy I can just eat this with rice...A meal wouldn't be complete without kimchi...lol...

Spicy Chicken and Kimchi Jjigae was so good too~ Thumbs up!

Treasury Casino at night~
Lastly a group photo befor leaving Brisbane!

Tangalooma Island on the next post! Sounds familiar? Yes it is the place where running filmed their episode 188! ^^

 Cheers~
