2 months ago, I found out my neck has a very big swollen lymph node and it was painful...and now there are more on my neck...about 7 or 8??? I am a bit worried so I ask my parents to bring me for a medical check up at Normah Medical Specialist Centre...You are wondering why i didn't go for medical check-up till now right? I was having Chinese medicine for these 2 months but it doesn't get smaller...
As I know so far, swollen lymph nodes usually occur as a result of exposure to a bacteria or virus. It plays a vital role in our body's ability to fight off viruses, bacteria and other causes of illnesses. Less commonly, swollen lymph nodes are caused by cancer. Scary right??? >< So yeah it's better to have a check...
The doctor asked me to go for a scanning on my neck and x-rays. he said it was caused by infection.
